Sam and Carli screamed ! The tube descended like Brittainy Spears's career, throughout the caverns and emptied out into the underground river below!!! Carli struggled in the darkness to stay afloat, weak from her incarcerated life, and Sam swam to her by following her cries and let her climb onto his back! A current swept them down a waterfall and through a hole in the mountain, toward an opening to the outside and the brightest daylight either had ever seen! They were vomited into a lake that was surrounded by a red-rocked canyon like an unwanted groupie from a 'Megadeath' backstage party ! Sam carried her to shore. Sam looked around. They were in the desert that lay beyond the mountains. They struggled up the canyon wall and saw a highway leading into town. They began to hitchhike and a brown volvo stopped beside them. The driver , an old man, looked at the soaked pair.
"Needing a lift to town?" He asked. "Or are you two soggy fucks going to just drip there?"
"I need to get to the hospital and drop her off. " Sam replied. "Then I need your help. " He flashed his badge at him and the old man smiled, unlocking the back door. Sam opened it.
The man nodded, as they got in. "What happened to you two?" He asked. "Police business? Out here?"
"You wouldn't believe us if we told you." Sam said. "But I need a ride to the gun store across from the Humvee dealership, as well. " The man nodded.
The car drove off and lightning crashed in the distance as the clouds on the horizon began to form.

Reggie sat at a computer terminal in his hospital gown , reading the screen. He was now in his nerdish element. He cracked the password and opened the first file that struck his interrest. It was describing the ARKAMEDES project and the false contract with the government. How they had taken the money from the contract to amass an army to attempt a political coup!!!! Their plan was to secretly attack Washington with the 1000 MJOLNIRS after firing the Ultimate Weapon.
"What IS the ultimate weapon?" Reggie asked to himself, cracking another folder with a locked password. A picture of Mrs. Penside was displayed. Next to the picture was the name "Anita Penside, M. "
Reggie wondered what the "M" stood for and went on to scroll below with the mouse. The file described the Ultimate Weapon...a type of device that used psychic powers generated by an extra terrestrial mind, to disable ALL weapons on the planet earth EXCEPT for those designed to resist the "thought waves." Reggie frowned. He realized that must have been what Colossus was trying to accomplish by labotomizing him. They must have wanted to wire him into the machine! But would that mean he was alien? He wondered, as he continued to search files for something interresting. He came across a file dated from 1940 and written in German.... luckily, His dad was half German and had taught him a little when he was a kid. He read what he thought to mean that Penside was born in a Nazi laboratory in the late 30's and was to be a weapon for the SS. But after the fall of Germany, she had been smuggled to America along with the Nazi's other secret weapon, a Japanese clone of Hitler, whom we all know and love. They were sold to the ARKAMEDES project in the 70's by the US government and had rose in ranks until they both controlled nearly all aspects of the project!!!
"That explains eveything!" Reggie thought. " Except where I can find Carli and Sam... and a bathroom...." He started to leave, but froze! His eyes had run accidentally across a name on the screen.... down at the bottom in small print... He almost screamed, pointing and clicking on the name he had read many many times in his life... "Rogers"...
There, In an old black and white worn out photograph, shaking hands with Hitler Mustache and Kissing Penside, WAS HIS OWN FATHER!!!!!!! REGINALD D. ROGERS!!!!!!
