Reggie was arrested, chained and hauled by pick up truck to the police station. The new police force was made up of volunteers from surrounding counties, out for revenge on the MJOLNIR for killing the entire force earlier! Reggie sweated under the lights of the interrogation room as a detective walked back and forth intimidatingly in front of him. "You think you're under arrest, don't you, son?" He asked..
Reggie sat and tilted his head... he mumbled something, but didnt' even understand it himself... The detective interrupted,anyway. "You're not arrested..." He said.." Detective Schpiel contacted me and had me round up this unit... we're gathering to take down the Arkamedes project. He pieced together from some evidence at a crime scene whom was behind it all... someone named Penside.. Do you know who she is?"
Reggie thought..." Could it be the old LAY-DEE!!!!! in purple? " He jerry lewised?" There was this old lady in purple who made me crash the mountain... and then when i was leaving, her servant with a bullhorn did something to blow it up... And there was this girl!!!!Carli!!"
"We.... don't know ... of any girl.." The detective said. "My name's Clay. Detective Clay.. Me, Schpiel and Sidious were like the three musketeers back in the day... but we all know what happened to Sidious.. I ... think you met him earlier.."
"He's dead..."Reggie confessed."Tried to kill me.... Sorry about the cops.. they were shooting at me..."
"Yeah... that was an order that came from a lieutennant Penside..." Clay started." That's another reason we're looking for her. Some dirty cops were arrained for hijacking the entire force to loot a truck full of those suits claiming they were smuggling drugs in them."
Reggie understood why they wanted him dead now.... it all made sense.
"But what about all of those suits in the mountain?!" Reggie asked.
"You saw the filled order? " Clay chuckled." ARKAMEDES invents all kinds of junk the government can't use and offers it to their weapons program... but they hit a winning idea when they patented these suits... they're modeled after some video game no one ever noticed and made with modern day influences...with a bit of Rosswell-gleaned alien technology. But when the government paid in advance for 1000 suits, they never delivered.... and the fear is that they actually have 1000 men to fit into those suits... because if that's true....."
Reggie looked up as he finished .... "We're all fucked." Said Clay.." So, can we count on you?"
"As long as we save Carli too." Reggie said..." So can we fix all the armor?"
Clay began to speak as he was mowed down by a needler to the face as a huge jeep that looked suspiciously like a warthog bashed into the lobby! Two men, one driving and one gunning, began firing futuristic weapons, mowing down most of the force!!!!
Reggie jumped off the table, grabbing a motorcycle helmet from a wall, putting it on! He dove behind a chair, realizing he'd built up some hydraulic pressure to his leg and opened fire with a Magnum he found on the table! The driver to the warthog fell over, dead!!! Reggie stood up, aiming and firing, spinning the last one down as he fired! the blast activated Reggie's shield, riccocheting that shot into the wall!
The smoke cleared and only 4 policemen stood up.... Reggie sighed a breath of relief and walked over to the new Warthog he had won... He knew well how to drive it... and there was a helmet sitting on the backseat beside the gun!!!! He picked it up and put it on!!!!
"Where are you going?!" One of the cops screamed..."We need help here!!!"
"I'm going to do what you guys cant..'' Reggie said, turning around to leave..."I'm going to save Carli and Schpiel......And find a Fu%king bathroom!!!!!"
Something snarled and watched him as he drove the warthog toward the base.... it followed him, laying slime down on the highway which dripped out of it's loose, red ass!!!!!!!!!
